TOLEDO, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 14, 2016-- Welltower Inc. (NYSE:HCN) has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index (DJSI) for the first time. The DJSI is considered among the most important global indicators of sustainability performance.

• Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Green Star Designation indicating high sustainability performance for the second consecutive year.
